Vehicle Exhaust Fume Extraction Control System

Vehicle Exhaust Fume Extraction Control System

Riverside ECS have completed a joint venture with the emergency services to extract dangerous exhaust fumes from emergency vehicle garages around the UK.

The fume extraction control panel senses the ignition either manually or via radio control, which starts pumps to extract the fumes via an umbilical tube attached electro-magnetically to the vehicle exhaust.

The umbilical detaches when either the alarm is raised or the vehicle is moved past a limit sensor.

Many systems have been installed based on a standard Riverside ECS design. This design can be tailored to the local authority needs with varying capacity of vehicles in each garage, thus needing more fume extraction pumps and sensor arrangements.

Riverside ECS have the capability to design and construct control panels for fume extraction, wood dust extraction, particle extraction and many similar extraction systems coping with either fixed rate or variable rate pumping.

Our ability to design multiple pump, filter or fans in either constant or sequenced configuration enables Riverside ECS to supply to any clients requiring fume extraction or particle extraction and filtering solutions.

The Riverside Group has sophisticated automation experience supplying more complex solutions where combinations of pumps, fans and filters need PLC or SCADA to monitor, display and communicate status to local or remote monitoring systems.

Whatever your need in fume extraction, particle extraction or filtering, Riverside ECS has a solution to meet your needs and ISO9001 systems in place to ensure this solution is delivered on time, to budget, cost effectively and with the right technical solution.
